What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), as well as other popular payment methods. The available options will be displayed at checkout.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
We start processing orders quickly to get them to you faster. If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us immediately through our website. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request, but we can’t guarantee changes once the order has entered the shipping process.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! Gift cards make a great gift for the adventurer in your life. You can purchase them directly from our website.

What kind of products do you make?
We make responsibly created outdoor apparel, gear, and accessories. Our product lineup includes travel packs, daypacks, duffels, hip packs, jackets, fleeces, hoodies, tees, and more.
What makes your gear different?
Our gear is designed to last a lifetime of adventure. We use recycled materials, repurposed fabrics, and responsible sourcing wherever we can. We’re also a certified B Corporation and Public Benefit Corporation, which means we’re legally required to consider our impact on people and the planet.
What does “Del Día” mean?
Del Día is our collection of bags and packs made from leftover fabrics that would otherwise go to waste. Because the materials are sourced from surplus, every Del Día product is completely unique in its color combination. No two are exactly alike.
How do I clean my gear?
Most of our bags and packs can be spot-cleaned with mild soap and water. For machine-washable items, we recommend washing inside a pillowcase on a gentle cycle and hanging to dry. Always check the care label on your specific product for detailed instructions.

What is the Cotopaxi Foundation?
The Cotopaxi Foundation is the impact arm of our company. We allocate at least 1% of our annual revenue to the Foundation, which awards multi-year grants to nonprofit partners working to alleviate extreme poverty. We focus on health, education, and livelihoods in communities around the world, with a particular focus on Latin America.

Gear for Good is our promise to make durable products as sustainably as possible, and to use our revenue to support communities experiencing poverty. It’s not just a tagline—it’s how we run our business.

We believe sustainability is a design principle, not an afterthought. We use recycled and repurposed materials, we’re carbon-neutral certified, and we’re constantly working to reduce our environmental impact. We’re not perfect, but we’re committed to getting better every day.
Shipping & Returns
How long does shipping take?
Standard shipping usually takes 2-6 business days after your order ships. 3-Day shipping takes 1-3 business days. You’ll receive a tracking number once your order ships.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs depend on your location and the shipping method you choose. We offer free standard shipping on orders over a certain amount—the threshold is displayed at checkout.
What is your return policy?
You have 30 days from purchase to return most items for a refund or exchange. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and undamaged. Exchanges and refunds for store credit are free.
Do you offer repairs?
Yes! We build our gear to last, but if something goes wrong, we’re happy to repair it, replace it, or help you resell it through our resale program. Our Guaranteed for Good™ program is designed to extend the life of our products.
